Manual Handling Courses
We are all exposed at times to some form of manual handling activity such as lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, twisting and turning actions. Personal injuries resulting from incorrect manual handling practices in the workplace account for over one million lost working days per year, as well as the pain and suffering experienced by the persons injured. Correct manual handling techniques can make a huge difference to the health and safety of workers and significantly reduce staff sickness absences.
